Since recent remodeling, the local reaction to the new Pok Pok has been mixed. Basically, the restaurant was undeniably perfect before, and you can't improve upon perfect. Still, it's rated the number one restaurant in Portland and serves authentic Thai food that breaks the mold of curries and pad Thai. It has a nice outdoor seating area for world-watching. The food and atmosphere is creative, clean, and grounded by artful spice medleys. The menu is varied and the wings are a favorite. It's best for smaller parties. Prepare yourself for tastes you've never experienced.
