If you're going to visit the Portland Children's Museum, you know what you're getting yourself into. Be prepared for lots of hyper kids high on rooms built just for them and lots of parents trying to keep up. Kids can play construction worker at Build, Climb, and Construct, play doctor at Kids' Clinic or play their favorite celebrity onstage with a mike; a highlight for many is the Once Upon a Time stage where kids can act out fairy tales. The Baby Room is a plus for those wanting to keep their infants playing in a safe environment. Great rainy day activity for the family; try to avoid the weekend crowds.
